No Wedding for Rosie & Kelli Yet

There won't be any wedding bells for Rosie O'Donnell!

At least not yet.

Though many gay celebrities are taking advantage of California's overturned ban on same-sex marriages -- including Ellen DeGeneres and Star Trek's George Takei -- the former View co-host and her partner Kelli Carpenter are not any of them for the time being.

''[We're] going to wait until it's legal everywhere, because otherwise, I said to Kelli, 'We'll be going around touring the country on the marriage tour every state by state," Rosie says.

The two were married in February 2004 by the mayer of San Francisco, who authorized same-sex marriages in the city. However, the same-sex marriage licenses were later declared void by the California Supreme Court.

Last month, the Court ruled that people had the "right to marry" their partner of choice, and Rosie hopes soon the whole nation will feel the same way.

''Once it gets to be at the federal level, once every state recognizes the marriages of every other state, I think that'll be the time we would do it,'' she says.

Califonia, the 46-year-old believes, set the tone for the rest of the country and change is definitely near.

''The same way it was illegal for black and white people to marry at one point and people couldn't conceive of that ever being different, I do think that two consenting, law-abiding adults who want to share their life together should be allowed to do that,'' she says.

Lily Allen To Appear On Kaiser Chiefs New Album

Lily Allen is to star on the new Kaiser Chiefs album according to producer Mark Ronson, who is working on new full-length records from both names.

"It sounds awesome. Lily and Ricky Wilson's vocals really gel and the instrumentals are top drawer." Ronson told The Sun, after he brought the two together in the studio.

Mark also went on to say that the collaboration may even be the Kaiser's first single from the long-player: "We're all hoping it's going to be a big one. I'd definitely rock out to it at a festival. It's a summer track, even if the weather is shit at the moment."

Both the Kaiser Chiefs new album and Lily Allen's second are expected to be released later this year.

Arctic Monkeys still missing their NME Award USA

Arctic Monkeys, winners of the Best International Album at the NME Awards USA, are yet to get their trophy back from Klaxons.

The Sheffield band were unable to attend the Los Angeles ceremony last month, so Jamie Reynolds from Klaxons got up onstage and swiped Arctic Monkeys' award from model Agyness Deyn when it was handed out (pictured).

Alex Turner and co have yet to be handed their award, and Reynolds caused further confusion on the night (April 23) by jokingly telling NME.COM that Klaxons' 2007 debut album 'Myths Of The Near Future' deserved the prize more than 'Famous Worst Nightmare'.

"Are you telling me that their second album is better than our first?" he asked during an interview on the night.

The decision was made by NME.COM's users, but it seems the Klaxon was determined to keep the award 'safe' for his mates.

Hopefully the prize will find its way to Arctic Monkeys' trophy cabinet soon eh, Mr Reynolds?

William Shatner - Shatners Star Trek Feud With Nimoy

WILLIAM SHATNER blames a bitter feud with fellow STAR TREK star LEONARD NIMOY for marring his time on the cult sci-fi series.

The actor, who shot to fame as Captain Kirk in the original 1960s TV show, states tensions built up between himself and Nimoy after the duelling pair indulged in a bout of verbal spats on set.

In his new autobiography, Up Till Now, Shatner explains how Nimoy - who played Mr Spock on the show - thought he was "a real son of a bitch".

And he adds that the actor took his on-set comments the wrong way: "(Nimoy) thought I betrayed him for the amusement of others."

However, Shatner insists the pair later became "best friends" after they were thrown back together to take part in Star Trek conventions.

Eva Longoria - Longoria Cut-out Jinxes Her Basketball Star Husband

Cheeky basketball fans distracted EVA LONGORIA's husband TONY PARKER during a crucial play-off game on Tuesday (12May08), by brandishing a life-sized cardboard cut-out of his sexy wife in the stands.

Parker was playing for his San Antonio Spurs team in a crucial game against the New Orleans Hornets, with the Spurs bidding to retain the NBA (National Basketball Association) Championship they won last year (07).

But the Desperate Housewives star's beau fluffed two key shots, seemingly put off by a mischievous fan waving a cut out of Longoria in a sexy pose.

San Antonio lost, and the team's chances of making it through to the NBA Finals in June (08), now hang in the balance.

Livin' La Vida Coldplay

No, Chris Martin has not suddenly handed over the Coldplay reins to Ricky Martin. But we understand any confusion after Mr. Gwyneth and his bandmates announced Monday they are targeting a June 17 street date for their highly anticipated fourth studio album, titled Viva la Vida. The new effort, alternately named Death and All His Friends, will be released via Capitol Records and contains 10 tracks produced by Brian Eno.Eno, of course, is the former Roxy Music keyboardist and legendary Grammy-winning producer who has toiled behind the boards for U2, Talking Heads, Devo and Paul Simon. Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends marks his first collaboration with Martin & Co.As fans might surmise by the title, the new material was influenced by Latin music, most notably with the inclusion of Spanish-style acoustic guitar. Viva la Vida is also a reference to the 1954 painting of the same name by Mexican art icon Frida Kahlo.Viva la Vida is the follow-up to 2005's X&Y, which sold more than 10 million copies on the strength of such hits as "The Speed of Sound," "Talk" and "Fix You."As with that release, Capitol parent EMI is banking on the new album to lift the record company's financial fortunes for 2009. Since a massive restructuring initiated by new management, the British conglomerate has seen numerous stock slumps and defections by some of its biggest acts, including Coldplay's idols, Radiohead. When Coldplay announced a return to the studio last year, Martin said the upcoming album would see the band strike out in a new creative direction, hence inviting Eno to contribute his studio wizardry, and would also include one song that he described as "genius," a tune "everybody has to hear."We're not sure which one is genius, but here is the full track list: "Life in Technicolor""Cemeteries of London""Lost!""42""Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love""Yes""Viva la Vida""Violet Hill""Strawberry Swing""Death and All His Friends"
