There won't be any wedding bells for Rosie O'Donnell!
At least not yet.
Though many gay celebrities are taking advantage of California's overturned ban on same-sex marriages -- including Ellen DeGeneres and Star Trek's George Takei -- the former View co-host and her partner Kelli Carpenter are not any of them for the time being.
''[We're] going to wait until it's legal everywhere, because otherwise, I said to Kelli, 'We'll be going around touring the country on the marriage tour every state by state," Rosie says.
The two were married in February 2004 by the mayer of San Francisco, who authorized same-sex marriages in the city. However, the same-sex marriage licenses were later declared void by the California Supreme Court.
Last month, the Court ruled that people had the "right to marry" their partner of choice, and Rosie hopes soon the whole nation will feel the same way.
''Once it gets to be at the federal level, once every state recognizes the marriages of every other state, I think that'll be the time we would do it,'' she says.
Califonia, the 46-year-old believes, set the tone for the rest of the country and change is definitely near.
''The same way it was illegal for black and white people to marry at one point and people couldn't conceive of that ever being different, I do think that two consenting, law-abiding adults who want to share their life together should be allowed to do that,'' she says.

Lily Allen is to star on the new Kaiser Chiefs album according to producer Mark Ronson, who is working on new full-length records from both names.
"It sounds awesome. Lily and Ricky Wilson's vocals really gel and the instrumentals are top drawer." Ronson told The Sun, after he brought the two together in the studio.
Mark also went on to say that the collaboration may even be the Kaiser's first single from the long-player: "We're all hoping it's going to be a big one. I'd definitely rock out to it at a festival. It's a summer track, even if the weather is shit at the moment."
Both the Kaiser Chiefs new album and Lily Allen's second are expected to be released later this year.
WILLIAM SHATNER blames a bitter feud with fellow STAR TREK star LEONARD NIMOY for marring his time on the cult sci-fi series.
The actor, who shot to fame as Captain Kirk in the original 1960s TV show, states tensions built up between himself and Nimoy after the duelling pair indulged in a bout of verbal spats on set.
In his new autobiography, Up Till Now, Shatner explains how Nimoy - who played Mr Spock on the show - thought he was "a real son of a bitch".
And he adds that the actor took his on-set comments the wrong way: "(Nimoy) thought I betrayed him for the amusement of others."
However, Shatner insists the pair later became "best friends" after they were thrown back together to take part in Star Trek conventions.
Cheeky basketball fans distracted EVA LONGORIA's husband TONY PARKER during a crucial play-off game on Tuesday (12May08), by brandishing a life-sized cardboard cut-out of his sexy wife in the stands.
Parker was playing for his San Antonio Spurs team in a crucial game against the New Orleans Hornets, with the Spurs bidding to retain the NBA (National Basketball Association) Championship they won last year (07).
But the Desperate Housewives star's beau fluffed two key shots, seemingly put off by a mischievous fan waving a cut out of Longoria in a sexy pose.
San Antonio lost, and the team's chances of making it through to the NBA Finals in June (08), now hang in the balance.
